Description
KUT FLOOR HD is a three-pack solvent-free epoxy resin system. It consists of an epoxy resin, modified amine hardener, and a filler that consists of specially graded and selected chemically inert aggregates. It is a trowel applied at a minimum of 5 mm thick. This thickness provides an impervious topping that is highly chemical resistant. The finished cured floor has a slightly granular texture of uniform self-colour. However, as the natural grade takes its color from the aggregate which is subject to variation, color matching is not practical with this grade. Color range: Natural and Light Grey.
Uses
KUT FLOOR HD provides a floor topping with exceptionally high strength and resistance to attack from mechanical wear and produces a safe non-slip finish. It is impervious and resistant to chemical spillage. It is ideally suited for Chemical handling and process areas, steelworks and heavy engineering plants, food and drink factories, dairies, oil refineries, paint workshops, battery rooms, and plating factories. Also widely used for areas of lighter duty where good, average durability and low maintenance costs are required. The surface of KUT FLOOR HD can be sealed with KUT FLOOR COATING GP, epoxy resin floor coating for easier cleaning in heavy-duty situations, or with KUT EPOXY COATING EWB or KUT EPOXY COATING UW in food and drinks processing areas.
